This is Stil Novo Design’s exclusive solid white oak chest.
The top seat and the legs of this trunk are made with recycled oak from fermentation barrels.
Our Venice Chest is a perfect combination of practicality, comfort and sophistication; Perfect for storing and organizing it can be integrated in any room of the house as a unique and handy piece of home décor.
By using the natural arch of a stave from a hefty fermentation barrel, we are able to create this particularly smooth and ‘silky’ silhouette for the top seat and legs, while we use regular oak for the creation of the structure.
The outside of the cabinet is finished with a beautiful natural golden oak color, and the inner side with a rich cherry chocolate finish to complement the red wine staining of the underside of the staves.
The Venice Chest measurements are about 40”X15” (top) and 20” height
(Each barrel stave is different so the size is approximate).
